Because I said so
<sarcasm>This just in... Spongebob is gay!  We must protect our children from the horrible, homosexual,... cartoon, sponge...? </sarcasm>
As we complete the year we return to the subject of my first post:  The March for Life.

I worked my ass off the last few days, making about $?500 in a week.  Not too shabby.

School starts again on the 31st.  I am completely ready, and can't wait to start the new year.  I also can't wait to go skiing the weekend before.

We got four inches of snow today, but its worthless for snowballs or forts...

I don't even know where to begin with the first point.  The fact that a dozen wackos in oregon have decided that a cartoon sponge is gay, and that the media seems to have made it the shared opinion of every conservative in the country pisses me off on so many levels...  Starting with the RWF (right with fundamentalists), what the hell???  Spongebob has a girlfriend if nothing else.  For the media, what the hell???  Havn't you learned that a majority of America ignores you anyway.

More media bashing for this point as well.  Last year the March for Choice recieved more media attention, despite being less than 10% the size of the March for Life.  It would not suprise me to find out that more people know about a few rwfs in oregon than they do about the horrible affects of abortion in this country and around the world.  No wonder conservatives are so despised or misunderstood.

I went for 11 full days where every waking hour was billed to one or another of my bosses.  I have honestly never worked so much in my life.  It also included my first business trip to Detroit, which I discussed in my last feature.

As I gather, the consensus is, Drew's vacation is too long.  I, personally, would have been happy to go back monday, and resume classes wednesday.  Or better yet, move back in monday and resume classes a week later.

Those of you who know me well know, I love snow forts.  Always have, always will.  I build snow forts big enough for three men my size to comfortably sit in, even when it requires clearing the cul-de-sac by my house of snow and transporting it, by sled, to my front yard.  But I also love snowboarding, and I look forward to doing some of that.

Merry Wintereenmas everyone!
peace,
teh Author

PS.  I accidentally erased the first post.  I am too lazy to put it back up, sorry.
