Werd (That would be Drew backwards) people,

Well today marks the third week of my collegate life.  Things have slowed slightly.  Still spending a lot of time having fun, but the lack of sleep and workload are increasing.  I give lots of props to my teachers for not throwing us to the dogs the first few weeks while we adjusted.

My roommate and I pretty much worked through our problems in a typical male fashion.  We ignored them until we adjusted and I would say things are just fine now.

Today is Julia's 20th birthday!  She now joins the ranks of old people (being a non-teenager.)  I wish her a happy and short year.  We all know 20 is just an annoyance between 18 and 21.

I am going home for the weekend tomorrow.  My cousin, Callahan, is being baptized.  What I look forward to most; more than clean bathrooms, a comfortable bed, home cooking, the thing I miss most is... MY BABY!!!  I need my car again!  Please, let tomorrow come!

What seems even more strange is I am dissapointed to be leaving Drew, even for the weekend.  It's very strange.

Hopefully I will have enough time to visit the people left at home.  I will certainly try my hardest.

Using baptism as a segway to Church, I just wanted to speak quickly on how cool Catholic Campus Ministry is.  Earlier, before mass, the priest made a comment to the effect of, "The community is more important than the place of worship."  I supressed a smile, and after mass, approached him and said, "My goodness, Father!  Community!  More important than place of worship?  If we were in Arlington, you would be burning at a stake right now."  To which he responded by rolling around on the floor laughing.  Isn't that refreshing?

I just realized that our campus television plan doesn't show Fox News.  That kinda pisses me off. I like getting every side of an issue by watching CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.  I guess they don't expect us to have that much intrest, but I still get Daily Show and Fark, so I can find any news story from any angle I want it.

Much love,
teh author
