My first update from college. It is every bit as cool as I imagined. I have met dozens of cool people and made tons of new friends. People who like Drew seem to be a great group.
Orientation was awsome, its great that we could party and do all the crazy stuff that should be done in college before we had to worry about classes or homework or stuff like that. It's also funny how time has become very distorted. I have only been away from home for 5 days, but it feels like I've been at Drew for a month and that I've known my friends for longer than that.
My class schedgule changed somewhat to make getting my intended double major (econ and theater) more feasable. I'm taking:
Computer Training Tues 6-7
Special Relativity MW 2:30-3:45
Calculus & Analytic Geometry MWF 9:45-10:50
Recitation Tues 1:40-2:30
Beginning Russian I MWF 11:00-12:05
Intro to Russian Cinema TTh 2:40-3:55
Still only 16 credits, and the schedgule timing isn't quite as nice, but its good enoigh. Still only one class on thursday and friday classes are done by noon.
I picked up all my books. Dad had a funny anurism...
My roommate is pretty cool, we get along well enough to ignore eachother and we are conciderate enough to not make lots of noise comming or going in the middle of the night. We bought so much of the same stuff, its insane.
