Slight site redesign for the special prom section:
Well Saturday night was the second Trinity prom. Above is myself and my date Therese McNichol. Behind us is the Odyssey, the beautiful ship on which we danced and ate. The food was pretty good as was the music. The overall combination made for a wonderful night.
The cruise was a three hour tour of the Potomac. It was fairly warm, but very windy, which made going outside a bit of an adventure. There ended up being 22 people with the Trinity prom and we shared half a room with a group from Michigan who were on their final day ouring DC. (They were seniors in high school.)
Things went, generally, without a hitch. Ms. Nolan refused to dance with any of the men that asked her. (Ms. Nolan was the subject of an earlier post concerning Joey and a picture on his website) But the effort was made. Brian DeCelle brought Carrie Carpenter (most of you will know who that is.) She had a very good time I think, which was nice, I was a bit afraid she would be a little shy. I guess I don't know her as well as I thought I did.
I will put up a picture of Mr. Maloney (our Physics teacher) dancing with my next update because it is simply hilarious.
Dan Milam got stuck driving around DC for two hours, because he was lost. I have a little pity because he had his license for a single day, but even so...
The post prom party was very unusual, in keeping with Trinity tradition. Atleast we didnt bowl... More, if I feel like it, when I put up Mr. Maloney's pictures. |
