KMFDM is a techno industrial band with a very diverse number of albums to its credit. The band has a very NIN sound to it, but at the same time it�s so much more. With its pumping bass and rhythmic synthesizer sequences, it�s no wonder KMFDM has such a huge following and has been on countless soundtracks, Mortal Kombat included. Nihil starts out very fast pace in the first three tracks, �Ultra�, Juke Joint Jezebel�, and �Flesh�, then it slows some in the middle to let you catch your breath, and picks back up for the finish. Other track highlights for this album are �Search & Destroy� and �Trust�. Nihil keeps you surprised and andrenalized throughout, even during the slower songs. The entire album boasts a series of hooks and riffs that snag your interest and hold on with an iron grip. Nihil is definitely an album worthy of being in any techno-lover�s collection. |
