| What can someone say about a band headed by a professional wrestler? Suprisingly more than you'd think. Fozzy, a band formed and led by WWF superstar Chris Jericho, has a good sounds to them. Their music sounds a lot like the monster ballads of old, and they do it well. Jericho a.k.a. Mongoose McQueen handles the vocals for this album more than decently. Members of the band Stuck Mojo handles the rest. However, the band titles their songs using titles that have already been used. Examples of this are the songs Eat the Rich, Stand Up and Shout, and Livewire. These songs are some of the best on the album. The band is new, but plays the angle that they have been around for a long time, and have influenced many of the rock bands of the 1980s. Despite this being there first album and that they are headed by Y2J himself. Fozzy surprises you with some darn good music. It's metal the way it should be... loud, hard, and fast paced. |
