Jaws: The Revenge
Reviewed by Daniel A. Campisi
Just when you thought it was safe to... oh never mind.  This film is just terrible for the sake of being terrible.  I cannot reccomend it in any way, shape, or form. There are so many things wrong with it I don't know where to begin. I guess I'll start with the cliche` complaint, the shark looks fake (even more than usual).  Then there's the plot(?) which revolves around the widow Brody (Lorraine Gary, reprising her role from the first two films) wanting revenge on the shark the killed her son and husband.  For some strange reason this poor deluted soul thinks that it is the same shark from the first three films (despite it being blown up, electrocuted, and blown up again), and for some even stranger reason the film trys to make the audience believe the same thing.  It ends very anticlimatically as she rams the front of her boat into the shark (which had been standing on top of the water, on tip of it's tail for about five minutes) turning it into a seafood shish-ka-bob.  If you really must go see this film for some reason, I think I saw the DVD at Walmart for five dollars the other day, knock yourself out.
