| The Gates of Hell |
| The Blackness of the night surrounds The distant souls of stars no found Far from this world to which we're bound Of sorrow, fear and death You come to the towers of flame, two twin volcanoes, dormant for many thousands of years. Most believe them dead, but no one knows for sure, they could very well erupt at any moment. There is a passage between then and at its entrence is the following inscription: Welcome to the gates of Hell 'Tis here the soulless Devils Dwell I advise you turn back now If you chose to proceed beware For Death lurks everywhere You scoff at these words and continue on through the passage. On the other side you find yourself in a beautiful valley carpeted with lush green grass and bisected by a crystal clear stream. It's only inhabitants consist of a small equine band. They reside here despite the threat of volcanic eruption because they know the valley's secret. At the far north end (opposite the flaming towers), a short, steep cimb up the surrounding mountain, is the entrance to another passage which would lead one into a network of underground caverns. One of these caverns contians an underground pool, and another an exit to the outer world. It is the perfect escape route. So, you haveseen all, but missed one thing. The lord of the valley has been watching you from a ledge above your head. *The black brute stands on the rocky ledge overlooking the entrence to his land...orbs follow the stranger..."Well,well, what have we here? Yet another fool refusing to heed the warning...ah, well let them come...'tis their life not mine..."* So go where you want and explore what you will But touch not what isn't yours And perhaps you may survive still |
