Carrying but two weapons as he travels the realms,it is a formidable sword known to all as "THE DEMON CLEAVER". This sword is a relic of unbreakable obsidian and is blessed by the holy council of elves. It has the ability to sever and cauterize instantly for most victims,however when used against a demon in any form causes severe damage and in most cases death most final. Demons find that when even just injured by this rune engraved sword that their ability to heal is negated. It was later discovered that this weapon was designed to combat the Lords of the 9 planes of hell and has no equal. The seconed weapon is the "Trell clan war dagger". A heavy Dagger that has been spelled with perfect ballence for accurate throwing,and has also been spelled with supernatural sharpness.
Mavek has the power to transmute any substance at will as well as summon or even create objects from seemingly nowhere. His natural ability to instantly wield any magic at will stems from his birth within the magical convergence which croses his home.(1)
He also has the ability to absorb any magical attack rendering it usless or turning the power of the same attack back aginst his attacker.(2) His birth within a magical convergence makes him vulnerable to only one thing. A secret which is kept locked ih the hearts of his long dead people. If his physical body is ever killed his body and free soul both magically return to the site of his birth where they reconstitute and become whole again. (3)
His skill with sword play comes from his knowledge of an elven martial art known as "BLADE SINGING". This is actually a dance like art which is highly graceful. Coupled with his natural speed the blade-song makes him a most formidable opponent in battle.
