My existence is filled with darkness,
I don't know why I am disregarded by the society.
I feel that my life is unwelcome,
I am abnormal to you.
But what normal is, is different to me.
You aren't capable of accepting me!
What is wrong with being who I am?
I am no different than you!
You see me though as not the same,
You try to pretend I am not here.
You want me to be something else,
Something else besides myself.
Why must you ridicule us?
Leave us alone, let us be!
What is wrong with being who we are?
We are no different than you!
You see us though as not the same,
You try to pretend we are not here.
Everyone wants us to be something else,
But we are who we are made to be.
So changing would only be denial.
And we refuse to deny what is only the truth!
