Hello all ye Royalty! And welcome to my Poetry Palace.. I am so happy you stopped in to share my heart today.. My name is Lora Hurd. I am married to a wonderful man who treats me like a Queen. When I first met him he told me he had the patience of Jobe... and through the 13 years we have been married he has proven this many times over to me. I have done some pretty silly things and he always reacted in a patient and understanding way each time. We have a little doggie named Precious and if you knew her you would know the name fits her perfectly. I have two wonderful and bright children a son Robert Ray and a beautiful and talented daughter Kathleen Ann, whom you probably have met on her site called Whispers in the Garden. She was the one who designed my site for me. She has proven to be one of the most thoughtful and loving people in the world, not just because she is my daughter but because her heart is so loving.. as you know if you have visited her site. And if you haven't please visit her via the link on mine. You will love her poetry and her caring nature. We have five wonderful grandchildren. Four boys by my daughter Kathleen and one girl by my son Robert. They are all bright and talented children with very high morals. One day our Joshua was walking to school and found a wallet with over 100.00 and credit cards in it. He never had any reservations to turn it in to the principles office immediately. The wallet turned out to be a teachers wallet! Needless to say he was an instant hero of his school receiving the highest award given by the principle that year. We were and still are so very proud of him for this show of honesty and good morals. Of course with a mother like my daughter Kathleen he couldn't miss having these traits taught him early in life. We seemed to have had the year of honesty that year as our oldest grandson Brandon also found a beautiful watch and turned that in to the office. My husband and I bought him a watch for a reward. We are so proud of the values our grandchildren have. We also had a beautiful granddaughter from Kathleen (Cassandra Marie) She was born with problems due to the fact, in the first three months of pregnancy my daughter sufferrd an infection. She lived for 9 days before she became our little angel . We are all looking forward to seeing her in heaven someday. My mother passed on just before Cassandra, and we all know she is watching over our little Cassandra now. My daughter and I are having so much fun getting our sites going and writing poetry to share with everyone in the world.
