Solomon Family History

Nathaniel Solomon. This site is about the Solomon and/or Taruna family. This Solomon name is not to be confused with other Solomons.  The Solomon name in regards to this family is a young one and is only a few generations old. The name was adopted from the Maori name Horomona Taruna, and transliterated from Horomona to the English name Solomon.

This Solomon site covers genealogy for the Horomona Taruna and Solomon family. This Solomon family is a large family, of varied parts.
The Solomon genealogies herein are as correct as I know them to be. Given that genealogy is not a perfect science and that many years have elapsed, I believe that the dates I have included are correct to within five years either side.

About Our Solomon Family

Our Solomon family is a blended family, however genetically speaking we are a family of two. Our blended family numbers 15. We enjoy family togetherness and love being together as often as possible. We believe in the power of prayer and the innate goodness of man-kind, and are well aware that the opposite also exists, perhaps in larger numbers. We are fairly easy-going people.
We are solid workers, team players and loyal to boot. Wherever we work we are an asset to that team. We are also very humble as you can tell . We are forever young at heart and have little problem communicating with
each other. Our motto within our family is "your problem is my problem."

A Few Things We Solomons Like To Do

These include fishing, duck shooting, rugby, softball, netball, skate boarding, motor bike riding, spending time with our family, traveling, cars, motors, balderdash, monopoly, and hang gliding.
We try to go home for duck shooting, but the folks' work commitments do not always allow us to do so.
