| Natassia "Tasha" Yar grew up avoiding the rape gangs of her home planet and escaped, choosing to join Starfleet. She died at the hands of "Armus" ("Skin of Evil"). When the Enterprise-C came through a rip in time, it caused a changing in history: the Klingons never became friends with the Federation and Tasha Yar never died. Tasha was sent through the rip to restore the original timeline, apparently to survive and bear a daughter Sela with a Romulan. She had a sister, Ishara Yar, who died in the episode "Legacy", trying to destroy her people's enemy, at the Federation's expense. But she was stopped by Data. |
