As Everyone know he got hit buy a car on FRIDAY AT 9 AM.
He was rushed to Westmead hospital by ambulance.
His Inguries are:
1. Trauma to his brain rusulting in internal bleed , cuts to scuap.
2. Left side of face broken cheek bone.
3. Broken nose .
4. Large cut above left eye requiring 10 stiches.
5. Seviour gravel rash to left side of face , chim and lips.
6. Neck brace applied to neck but neck looks ok.
7. Massive grassing to his left solder , arm and nucks on both arms.
8. Damage to left lung from the back.
9. 2 Large cuts on left side of botton the size of a cake of soap in size.
10. Fracture tail bone.
11. Fracture pervic bone in 2 places.
12. Left leg serviour grassing and cuts.
13. Right leg boken bone above knew shatted inside of leg.
14. Small broken bone on right side of leg. Metal plate bolted into position on inside of right leg, Result of 30 cm cut
about 30 stickes and 10 screws to bolt it all together them put in surgical cast.
Due to head and lung trauma Carlos was put in life support system. Meaming the machine is breathing for him.
He has had blood transfusion of 1 litre on Friday night.
He is on pain releaf.
On Saturday attents to take him of life supports have fail , he cuntinous on life support.
Carlos does move from time to time and he as responded to family at times but very rare.
You are not able to talk or see Carlos at the hospital , however his parents appreciate the support of his friends and school , we really appreciated.
This website was built because of the amount of people wanting info and I thought this way would be the better way to share information.

Today nothing much has changed.
Tried to wake him up but he was distressed , so he was put back to sleep.
He also had a cat scan and all looks good.
He had another litre of blood due to loosing some when they woke him up.
It was a good day.
Monday 12 Of Febuary 2007
Tried to wake him up but he was distressed , so he was put back to sleep.
His condition still the same no change.
He had a wash, started to feed him for the first time , by tube.
Had a lot of visitors, and he seem to respond.
No he didn`t wake up but he moved his body.
Around 7:00 pm Rosemary his mum started to sing to carlos and he was giving a very good reaction.
He had 3 lots of blood . I wounder if he going to turn into a vampire ??? lol.

Tuesday 13 Of Febuary 2007
Today had a very interesting day, Carlos WOKE UP for 7 hours.
All started good he was very douppy but managed to talk in very small sentence.
He was on a oxygen mask on his face and took out completly off life suport. Yes on is one no machines to help.
After a few hours his poor lung and brain where not shore what they should be doing , Carlos was not getting
enought oxygen to the lung it must of being hurting , so the doctors agreed Carlos needed to be put in life support.
His neck is fine as you can see by the pics no neck brace . Big improvement.
Carlos is doing better day by day.
Carlos smilled at Ian Lopes ( his brother ) asked for his BIBO password, he smilled and said i`m not stupid yet.
And went back to sleep, I guess he is reponding but may need more rest.
Since Friday I`ve seem a lot of people young and old and strangers supporting us and Carlos.
I would like to thank everyone for the support, love, carring, emails, flowers, prays.
Many young students and friends from Rooty Hill High School have Visited even when they know they can`t see Carlos.
Just being their has helped our family and them we hope to get throw this hard times. Together we will get their and Carlos will be with us all as well.

Today being Vanlentines Day We all know that Carlos heart would be with everyone he cares about. So Happy Valentines Day to All .
Carlos has a good day today , he has being given good news that his left lung is doing better.
His medication has being changed and it seems to be working in Carlos favour.
He is still in life support and at peace with the world at this stage.
Carlos was asleep most of the day to allow the his brain and lung to rest due to the servier traumer.
His tubes to his rigt wrist had to be re stichet tonight as he ripped it out, but its all good.
Carlos is now sleeping on clows and tommorrow will be a new sunny day.
Thrusday 15 Of Febuary 2007
Today the day started early for Carlos he was off all medication from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
He still had the tube in his mouth to help him breath.
He came around , moved his legs and body and opened his eyes.No he did not talk due to the tube in his mouth to help him breath.
The good news is lung have being given the all clear for him to start breathing by him self. He only needs his brain to start
listenning to what his saying.
At this stage his brain is still alittle mixed up.
This afternoon he had a special visit Mr Lewis from Rooty Hill School. He made Carlos day. Carlos held Mr Lewis hand and squezed
is hand and opened his eyes it was very clear Carlos was very please to see and hear Lewy as Carlos calls him.
From our point of view today is the best day he has had yet, more to come I`m sure.
His medication was put back on for the night as Carlos still needs his brain to settle abit more. The swelling is going down
and his left eye is getting better, and tommorrow is a new day.
Friday 16 Of Febuary 2007
Today was a great day Carlos worked very hard with his mum and dad and came around about 10:00 am and it was no easy road.
He suffered for a few hours but never gave up and he was rewarded for it.
About noon the breathing tube came out and he was breathing by him self.
About 1 pm the tubes in his noise came out and he was tube free.
Yes he still has Iv drips on his arm and neck and thats why he has big gloves in his hand so he can`t pull it out.

He tried to black mail everyone he shaw. But had no luck.
He had a few visitors today and seem to have handled ok.
He got tired quicky which is to be expected.
Unfortunally he can`t chew yet due to his fracture cheeck bone so a tube will be put in his nose so he can eat.
Which is not a set back.
Tonight carlos is sleeping on the clows with the angles , with their help no machines should be needed.
Thank you for everyone that is praying , it looks like the prayers have being answered.
Saturday 17 Of Febuary 2007
Today was a restfull day for Carlos consedering how much he has being pushed the last 48 hours.
He had a slight temperature but nothing to worry about.
He is getting leg cramps on his left leg.
He is talking very minimal may be due to his saw throat.
He had a few visitors today and he got very tired.
He recognise the visitors. Special Amanda Gunning Seem to have made an Inpression.
His brain is still learning to adjust.
His mum today read is cards to him and he seem to understand.
Tommorrow we are taking the emails you all send and read to him.
Sunday 18 Of Febuary 2007
Today Carlos was moved to a diferent room he is now on Unit E ward c room 28.
Carlos has being downgraded in ICU due to being off life support.
He was very drowsy all day.
He was drowsy due to a double medication.
He was tonight having another ECT head scan just to make sure everything is ok.
He is still having his food by IV , high in protein.
His Monitor looks good no alerts today.
Monday 19 Of Febuary 2007
Carlos Scan result from the ECT scan came back ok , but it brain is still very swolled, That is the reason he is not responding.
The only responding is very limited like he is trying to save his energy.
He had is leg xray today but the results are not in yet.
He had pshyo to his lung today and he didn`t fully respond, We found it hard to inhale to the requirements.
He moved his arms alittle bit and his mum put cream to moisting his skin.
He is trying very hard.
He said his name , month, but couldn`t talk much more does to his throat was sore.
His Temperature is good.
We read his emails out to him and he wanted and hold them up himself and he tried to read them. He was very happy so please keep it up.
Tuesday 20 Of Febuary 2007
Today when we arrived we had a great supprise, Carlos was still dowpie but we smilled and laughted when he saw his brother Ian.
His throat was still very shore.
The speech theraphy came to see if Carlos could start eating.
They tried him on apple purea and orange juice , he managed quite well.
For tea they tried him on apricot chicken,rice,califowler and beans with lemon pudding and bread with orange juice.
Well he had a bit of chicken , rice and it too hard to shalow.
We got carlos to try chocolate custard and apricot juice which he loved it.
After tea Carlos temperature went up to 39.5 and we called the doctor to look at him.
He had a blood test , Urine test and they found a urine infection so his urine drainer was removed.
He got some panadol and a ice pack for the back of his head , also lowered the room temperature.
He has tried to get out of bed and wanting to come home ,Carlos gets very distressed when his told he can`t yet.
We read his emails out to Carlos and he had a laugh at a few of them.
The stiches from his head where removed.
As you can see from the pictures Carlos can open his eyes.
Wednesday 21 Of Febuary 2007
Carlos today had two long lost visitors which made his day , thank you Talia and Kim.
Carlos tried to get up while there was no nurses around and he fell out of bed. He is abit shaken but he is alright.
His temperature is still high.
His Staples where taken off his leg.
His leg xray is looking good.
Carlos had another cat scan and they found a small bleed behind is pelvis medication should fix this.
Carlos is eating and drinking by himself now.
Carlos is now listening to Ians Ipod. I guess he loves is music. It was good to see abit of the old Carlos back.
Carlos memory seem to be alright. Hey he even gave me his computer and internet passwords.
Thrusday 22 Of Febuary 2007
Today was a great day we got a telephone call at home about 6:30 am, we hear a little voice and Rosemary is mum asked if it was Carlos
and the telephone just kept beeping it was Carlos pressing numbers because he could not speak loud enought.
Carlos gave the telephone to the nurse and he asked for us to come to the hospital.
When we got there the doctor told us the fluid near is pelvis had to be removed and they would like to do it today.
We sign the paper and went to see Carlos.
Well we did not execpt to see what we did Carlos moving , talking , drinking, eating, adjusting the bed, playing with Ipod etc.
We where stunt and all day we have being amazed.
Carlos had a lot of visitors today and he talked and laughted.
His old back is back.
Carlos about 3 pm went to get the fluid removed and it was not able to , will try another time.
Today he went for a ride on a wheel chair. Need to get him some L plates.
He sms a few people from my mobile and spoke to a few friends on my mobile.
Carlos spirits are very strong.
He was please to see one of his teachers , hopefully he made heart happy like his one is.
He is ordering his own meals.
We told Carlos of all his injuries and he seem to coped with it.
Carlos had a exhauting but a good day, we can`t wait for tommorrow.

Today not much happened Carlos had a few visitors and he is communicating well.

Carlos today was moved out of ICU to the bone ward.
He has a room all for himself.
Sunday 25 Of Febuary 2007
Carlos is sleeping alot.
He is eating alot better.
He had a restfull day.
He suckerd his mum to rub his hair all day. Just like when he was a little boy.
Tuesday 27 Of Febuary 2007
For the people who know Carlos know he can`t sit still for too long, He now has a new challenge and that is complete bed rest.
The doctors let him take it easy for a few days but now its back to rest due to injuries.
Today was for the first time since the accident Carlos is tube free.
His feeding tube didn`t want to come out,It got stuck between his nose and throat he now know how a fish feels like.
A lot of pain was involved on the remoiving of the tube.
Carlos has asked for home cooked meals , he doesn`t like hospital food.
Tonight he is enjoying a tube free nose.

Carlos today started eating normal food.
Carlos had a few friends over today and he had a great time.

A helping hand from Rochelle to get them right.
Even the nurses and doctors had a good laugh.

Carlos is doing well and he wants to come home, but at this stage he can`t
He has one more stop. Next stop for Carlos is 3 weeks of rehab.
He is just waiting on a bed.
Carlos gets bored very easy and he looks foward to his visitors and phone calls.
We like to take this chance to thank everyone who has giving up there time to visit and sending their emails.
The support has meant a lot to Carlos and the family.

Hello Everyone
This is Carlos Jnr writeing
I would like to THANK everyone who has come to see me,To the people who have had me in there thoughts, To the people who have been with my family and who have helped them through this hard time
, Also to the people who have been praying for me and to the people who have kept me in there mind.
THANK YOU EVERYONE for every thing
I am do great and i am recoverying very good
Since i have been in Rehabe i have been able to move my right legs 55 degrees since the metal plate was put in my leg.
I only have to have 2 injections each day so i will not get any blood clots in my blood.
I do not have any needles in any part of my body.
I have about 1 and a half weeks left in rehabe and then i will be relased and i will be back at home.
I should be back at skool after the my doctors at westmead have said that it will be ok for me to go back to skool.
AND THEN I WILL SEE EVERYONE AND I WILL GIVE PEOPLE HUGS IF THEY WANT
I hope that i did not scare anyone by what happened to me but it was great knowing that people were waiting to see me, were thinking of me and were very worried about what happened.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MY PARENTS FOR BEING HERE FROM THE VERY START AND I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK THE 2 PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN WITH MY PARENTS FROM THE VERY START (Rochelle martin and Hope holden)
I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I GET BACK TO SKOOL because i will be able to see all my friends, people that are close to me, all of the teachers, and i will be able to start my class work again since i have missed out on about all of year 12
My parents have lost alot of sleep, alot of work,alot of time what they would normally would be doing because of what happened to me and they have been here beside me every step of the way

Hello, It's Carlos jnr again
Just thought that i would let everyone know that i am doing great and i am recovering very fast and i will be relased some time this week hopefully.
On friday i was aloud to go home for week end relase and i also went to Rooty Hill High school to get my school photos done
It was great being at home and i can't wait until i am aloud to to home for good.
My parents finally got a good sleep, and i was happy to be at home.
On Friday i had my brother and his wife and daughter come over, My brother came home from where he was staying to take care of me and see me and daniel came over to visit.
I did not sleep on friday because i was so happy to be away from the hospital since i have been in there for 1 month and 7 days.
I HOPE EVERY ONE IS OK

Today everyone in the house woke up me so my mum can give me my injection
My mum finally got some sleep and i am very happy that my family is dealing With what happening to me.
Today i seen Daneil again and i aslo seen hope holden and her mum and little sister.
Stayed on the internet until 1 pm and then i went to bed

I had my injection at about 10am
Got my cloths ready for School photo's
I Had Some more visitors as well today
Rochelle and Melissa came over to visit, Daniel came over again to day, Adam Selby came over with Daniel and it was good to see Selby and Breadon come down to visit.

It was great to see the Student and Teachers of Rooty Hill High school and it was good to see that everyone is doing good.
Can't wait until i am back at school.
The school photos were great and there were not no problems with them, but the group school photo was the best.
Mrs Cawsey asked me and my family if we would like to have a coffee after the photos were take and it was really good to be back at skoolvfor a few hours.
It Was Very Good To Hear That Mrs Cawsey Daughter Was Good.
I came back to rehabe to have my injection and i should be out some time this week.

Sunday 8 th April 2007
Carlos is recovering very well.
Carlo came home for a weekend visit on 18 and 19 of March 2007.
He went back to rehab and he worked really hard to get back home and has a result Carlos came home on 23 of March 2007.
One day before is birthday, he was very determed to be home for his birthday.
He is doing physio and still has doctor appointment to keep.
Carlos learnt to use the wheel chair very well and on thrusday 5 of April 2007 he was able to move on to crathers.
Know that he is moving around on his legs he has a few pains , his leg musles are getting use to moving again.
Carlos is not any more on injection and any medication the boy is doing very well.
