LOOSE GRAVEL
Loose Gravel is comprised of four young men from Smithville-Nashua-Trimble, and now a young gal from Lawrence. (Please don't call them the loose gravel "boys" anymore.) But you CAN call them Loose Gravy (thanks Karla).
Loose Gravy....er Gravel plays a mix of traditional bluegrass, old time, gospel and original music.
Dustin White, 20, plays guitar and sings lead vocals, while Josh Bailey,
22, plays mandolin, his twin brother Beau Bailey plays banjo and
dobro, the group is backed up by Chris Sublette, 17 on the upright bass. Fiddle player Josephine Michener, 17, joined the group in September, 2003.
Dustin, Josh and Beau have played music together for several years, Chris
joined the group over three years ago. The band has performed at the Northwest Missouri Bluegrass Festival, the Grand Emporium, the Sante Fe Music
Festival in Edwardsville, KS and other local festivals.
