Orange Rose

Select well-shaped, thin-skinned oranges.   Remove peeling and then carefully remove as much of the tough white membrane as possible, without mangling the pulp.  Now separate the carpels, opening them up almost all the way, so that it will have the effect of petals.  Fill in the center and the space between the carpels with persimmon pulp.
