Day Temp: 80-86 F (27-30 C).

Night Temp: 72-78 F (22-25 C).

Humidity: 50-60%, mist lightly two to three times per day, using Eco-Earth and some natural moss are other ways to increase humidity.

Housing: A 10 gallon tank is bare minimum for these frogs, larger is better. They can be housed alone, in pairs or in groups with other Dumpy Frogs, or similar Tree Frogs from around their native area, make sure they are about the same size. Eco-Earth is the best substrate for them, it's soft, easy on their skin and safe to digest if they do so accidently.. Although it can be messy.

Heat Equipment: Low wattage heat lamp and bulb or low wattage under tank heating pad.

Light Equipment: Fluorescent lighting is needed to give these frogs a natural day cycle, and night cycle when you turn it off.

Food & Water: Water should be given in a dish large enough for the frog to soak in if they choose to, but not too deep as these frogs can drown since they aren't very good swimmers. Use chlorine free water or bottled water, not tap water, change daily. Appropriate sized crickets and occassionally other insects can be given, feed every other day, note that these frogs are spose to be on the fatty side. A very occasional pinky mouse can be given to adults, if you desire.

Size & Temperment: Relatively docile and friendly, not too prone to jump. Females can grow to 5 inches, males are usually around 4 inches when adult.

Side Note: When you do handle these or any other frogs, make sure you wash your hands with water first and try to keep them moist.
