Day Temp: 75 degrees- 88 degrees

Night Temp: 72 degrees 84 degrees

Humidity: Lightly misting twice a day will provide more then enough humidity, if Eco-Earth with some natural moss is used.

Heating Equipment: Low wattage under tank heating pad.

Lighting Equipment: None.

Housing: One frog per tank, as these can be cannibalistic and generally don't enjoy company. A 10 gallon tank is enough to house these large frogs their whole life, as they aren't very active. Atleast 4 inches of substrate should be used.

Food & Water: The water dish should be large enough for the frog to get inside of it and soak, chlorine free or bottled water is a must, changed daily. Never use tap water. These frogs do best on a diet consisting of mainly crickets and other insects, appropriately sized mice or rats can and should be given atleast once a month, along with very occasional boiled chicken or raw beef heart.Occasional small goldfish or anoles are also relished. Remember, a healthy Pixie, is a fat Pixie.

Size & Temperment: Some are friendly and seem to enjoy gentle handling, others will probably have your fingers for lunch. It's best to get to know your individual frog.. Keep in mind, these are very aggressive eaters and should never be hand fed, if you must interact during feeding time, use tongs.

Side Note: These, like all other frogs, should never be handled with dry hands or soapy hands. Wash your hands entirely and keep them moist, when touching these animals.
