I want to help people "open the door to Jesus"; as I have.
My main goal at life here on earth, is to walk with Jesus; in God�s will, so that I may be with our Lord in heaven for eternity.

| I was born in SD and mainly raised in OK; during that time I�ve been in so many schools across 38 states that I can't count them. My step dad was a pipe liner and he moved us with him a lot of the time, although we owned a house in southern OK. I love all kinds of people. I've been called a natural born leader, by my peers, but not the kind to speak in front of a crowd. I�m a little shy until I get to know you. I attended Sunday church services until I was 12 years old. I've always strived to do what is right; to not harm others, lie, cheat or steal. My problem was with myself; I considered myself an atheist; was suicidal and very unhappy. I was into anything that was self-destructive; adultery, drugs, drinking and partying. I moved to Kansas in 1986 after college and continued my careless life. Then one day around Christmas of �94 I had had enough. I left my live-in boyfriend and moved into a place of my own, but was still seeing a married man. That's when, for unknown reasons I started praying, instead of cursing. And, slowly but surely I was being "born again". I stopped the partying and became a recluse, only going to work and home to sit in my bathtub, cry and pray. Although, I didn�t know my praying was working. I was still committing adultery with a married man, doing drugs and drinking at home. Then in 1995 I had an opportunity to buy a house, I was being graced with responsibilities that I didn�t want to lose. Therefore, I stopped the drinking; I was a weekend alcoholic so it was easier for me to quit than for most. I started doing more reading and studying from the Bible along with more praying, because I still wasn�t happy. Then one day in �96, I decided to go to a BBQ-party in the country and take my rottweiler. I thought I could drink just a few beers, I was wrong. I had an auto accident that should have taken my life and my dogs. I knew God had saved me and I prayed and praised heavily; being so thankful. I prayed for direction and peace in my life. From then on, I was dancing with the Holy Spirit. I stopped the adultery, drugs and drinking; completely. I even dropped the old crowd of friends. Life was starting to look so much better. I was happier than I'd ever been and I praised the Lord daily. I wasn�t going to church yet, but I did do a little studying with a Mormon group at my home. Although, I didn�t agree with some of their teachings and practices, I was starting to see Jesus in a different light. Since then, I do a constant daily study, prayer and praise. I moved to Oklahoma in 2000 and was baptized with Christ's Church, now I grow constantly closer to our Lord and Savior. Even though I'm still a sinner, as we all are, I've always got the Lord and I'm so thankful for His grace and mercy. I'm constantly studying anything about the Bible or Christ; any kind of material I can get my hands on. I have grown thirsty and the Lord is quenching my thirst. I want to help people "open the door to Jesus"; as I have. My main goal at life here on earth, is to walk with Jesus; in God�s will, so that I may be with our Lord in heaven for eternity. |
