An open letter to all New Country Party candidates and members of parliament.

Hi there.

I'd like to ask you about something I've been pondering for a while.

As you are no doubt aware, an article in The Australian on September 1 this year revealed that your party's webmaster, Mr. Scott Morrow, had placed links on the website of independent Western Australian state MP, John Fischer, which took the reader to racist writings on the same website and elsewhere on the internet. In spite of Mr. Morrow's obvious sympathy for the white supremacist views expressed in that material, the New Country Party decided to retain his services, not only as webmaster but also as a member of the party's Western Australia executive committee. There was no apparent objection to this from the rest of the New Country Party.

The Australian article also mentioned similar concerns which I raised early in the year about racist weblinks which Mr. Morrow had placed on the One Nation WA website when he, Mr. Fischer and New Country Party state MP, Frank Hough, were still members of that party.

I'd like to find out just how racist the New Country Party is by asking each of you to clarify the extent to which you share Mr. Morrow's racist sympathies:

Do you share Mr. Morrow's view that the Jewish people are not Semitic but are actually descended from "Khazars"?

Do you sympathise with the view that former Malaysian Prime Minister, Dr. Mahathir, was correct when he stated that "the Jews rule the world by proxy"?

Do you sympathise with the view that, without white people, the world would be "mired in eternal ignorance and darkness" and incapable of progress?

Do you sympathise with the view that the world is run by a secret cabal of businessmen and politicians who perform human sacrifices before a statue of a giant owl?

Do you sympathise with the view that "Illuminatist bankers created Communism to control the common man"?

Do you sympathise with the view that there is a Zionist plan to invade and conquer North America, South America and Australia?

Do you sympathise with the view that Jews play a central role in the "New World Order", an occult conspiracy united in the worship of Lucifer?

Do you sympathise with the view that Israel is willing to destroy the world with a secret "doomsday" nuclear device rather than surrender land to Palestinian control?

All of the above are serious opinions expressed by either Scott Morrow himself or in writings to which Mr. Morrow provided links from the One Nation Party website between November 2003 and April 2004. I believe it would be helpful for prospective New Country Party voters to know the views of the party and its candidates on these matters. Your prompt response would be appreciated.

On a final note, I would like to congratulate the independent member for Kennedy, Mr. Bob Katter, on his wise decision to not stand as a New Country Party candidate in this election, after previously expressing a willingness to do so. Well done Bob, and good luck on Saturday...
