October 31, 2000, my college celebrated Halloween 2000 with a lunch, and a costume party...This is the story of how I angered several people, and made 2000 a memorable Halloween.
HOME
What a day--Halloween 2000. To begin, the college where I attend held a bit of a joke of a "Halloween party" in order to celebrate the festivities. For more than most of the morning, I had to hear some people saying it was a pagan holiday--to which I responded that we're in the 21st century and simply 'lighten up.'

Then, the costume party began. I was ready, I didn't wear my Michael Myers costume the whole day, only putting it on a few minutes before the contest started. I came in, slowly walking, just like Mikey would do, and I stared at people--just as a comic way of making it more realistic. Well, to my surprise, it angered at least one teacher--who told me later I was going to make her "have bad dreams" because she "hates that Jason guy", to which I responded with the correct name of who I was dressed as. To add insult ot injury, for how damn good I looked, I didn't even get third place...not even an honorable mention. Once again, the downtrodden Halloween fans out there can similate and realize certain people will put us down simply because we enjoy a good horror flick and a cool scare...

The situation may have been made worse, though, for that teacher--and a few others. See, there is a certain sense in my school (which shall remain nameless until I graduate) that anyone who likes George W. Bush is put down. Well, not to bring politics onto a Halloween page--for Halloween fans are neither republican nor democrat--but I think you'll appreciate this. I dressed as George Bush, and I inferiated the same teacher--plus the owner of the school, simply because they are Al Gore fans. As I said at the beginning of the day, I repeated again, some people need to lighten up.

Later on in the night, I dressed as both Bush and Michael Myers, scaring some kids as Mike, and doing to campaigning for Bush, which turned pretty comical. Just thought I'd tell you of my Halloween this year. If you want tell me about yours, feel free to email me.
