My dogs, Jammer and Jewel, are my pride and joy walkers. In the future, I believe we will be breeding them(1-2 years probably). If all goes well, I'd like to keep 3 pups; 2 females and 1 male. Their names would be PR RvrRdg Jewel's Jammin JetJJ, PR RvrRdg Jewel's Jammin JemJJ, and PR RvrRdg Jewel's Jammin JavaJJ. I also am in hope of buying a puppy from Northmountain by his dogs, Eagle and Sioux. If all goes well with that as well, I will have a nice young male by the name of Pr RvrRdg NrthMtn MTH Warrior. In the distant future I could see both Warrior and Jet as studs, and both Java and Jem bred to Warrior. Furthermore, I can see all 4(as well as their sires and dams, and possibly offspring) as WORLD NITE, WORLD SHOW, GR NITE, GR SHOW, NITE, AND SHOW CHAMPION prospects. I believe, that if following these lines, this plan, my heart, and my dreams, I could begin to righteously imagine, live, and correct the points of the walker breed and combine my experience, dreams, ambitions, knowledge, and dogs to produce one solid, worthy and proven line of hounds. Not only with conformation, but with hunting ability which would include the ability to trail and tree in a fashionable manner, and with the swiftness and strength of the walker breed. I believe that with the right knowlege, people, lines, dogs, ambition, and love of coonhounds, this dream of mine can become a reality, and even more so, can become a public oppurtunity. This line would be used to assure the coonhunting public guaranteed pups and studs with quality lineage, ability, and traits, and not to mention, potential as show and hunt dogs. One key component, which I would not fail to include would be a loving temperment, although contrary to what many believe as these dogs are determined hunters who may look fierce, and even so may show fierce actions while hunting, as they persue their prey. However, I do know that many of these dogs are soulful companions to their masters, who more often than not, cannot put a price on their most beloved and cherished hounds, who posess the temperment of a family dog, and who sometimes become recognized as a family member. Yet, I believe, more people are focused on the treeing and trailing abilities most of all. Then may come conformation and lineage, and finally temperment. Yet I know it is possible to contribute all these qualities into one dog, or a line of dogs, as has been evident to me in my young male, Jammer. Thus, I have stated my goal as a walker fancier.
