When I am lonely, I stop and think of you and all the times we have shared over the past years. 

I smile at your antics, your deceitful but fun and loving ways.

I think of the sometimes scary parts of our life together and wonder at times how we go thru them.  How you accomplished all you had to do. 

I know it hasn't been easy for you, but you never complained.  You just kept plodding on though it was pretty rough sailing, and I admired you for that so very much.

Then there were times, when I wouldn't be quite sure of where we stood.  You pushed me out of your life and made me watch through a smoked glass window, always wondering and worrying if things would ever be the same.

Now, it seems that maybe we have come full circle again, and once again, I feel the warmth of your smiles and  the strength of your touch that I had longed for for so many months.

Now we share a vision.  Look to the future and not to the past.  This sunset is for you, may you always enjoy the warmth of a golden sunset and the touch of one whom you love.
