This deed witness, I , Alexander Wright, a house holder and head of a family of the county of Wise in the state of Va., do herby declare that I claim the benefit of the homestead exemption pursuant to the provision of an act of the General Assembly of Virginia passed the 27th day of June 1870,intitle in act to prescribe in what manner and on what condition a house holder or head of a family shall set apart and get ? ? Homestead and personal property for the benefit of himself and family exempt from sale for debt and do hereby claim and set apart the following real and personal property as for said Homestead to wit: All my real estate in Wise County in the state of Virginia on the waters of Russell's Creek containing two hundred and two acres of the value of four hundred dollars. 400.00 |
