| Today I woke with a new day. Each day I see the opportunity to become better. Better as a person, better as a friend, and better as a mother. This day seemed to be same as most other days, except, when I turned the tv on, it was very different. All I saw was death. Some evil brought forth by an unknown force. I thought about my heart and the hearts of others, and was devestated. I thought of my daughter and how young she is, and what could possibly await her future. I thought of my dreams, her dreams, and the dreams of the hundreds dead. I sought out my family just to say "I love you......." I also realized something else today in the middle of all the tragedy. I saw with my own eyes how when necessary, people come together and help each other. It made me smile ;)), I still believe in my dream, and I believe this country. My heart goes out to everyone who suffered a loss today. Do you wonder who that is exactly? Yes.....All of us. Michelle.................... |
