Anyway onto the church. Let's see, If you look at religion without any beliefs getting in your way, from a political point of view, religion hasn't done any good in the world (please notice I said from a political view putting aside all beliefs). For the most part it's just got people to fight over who's right and who's going to hell. It's the single most reason people go to war, well, either that or land, but still alot of wars. It's become another way for people to divide themselves.
Now on the inside, corruption is the main problem. It happens, don't try to deny it. Everything corrupts in time. There's no real way to get rid of it, its in peoples nature. I also think alot of people go to church out of habit and don't pay attention to anything and just consider themselves Christians. This is a bad situation, corrupted power+people that will follow, the thought scares me so much. Honestly, I'll be quite blunt about it, Catholics are the main group that scare me with this, the system they have is built to be corrupted. I just can't trust it. Also I think peoples faith just keeps them in line, this I still have yet to determine if it's good or bad.
Anyway, on a happier note Religion has served people good. It's made people happy and given them hope, even if it's false (I'm not saying it is). So I can't really bash it too much. Anyway if you care about my opion/want to prove me wrong just talk to me, seeing as none of you actually do care, I'll shut up.
