I come from a small country, Slovenia , which lies in the middle of Europe at the edge of Balkan. Slovenia was the first country that occurred after the decay of Yugoslavia (beginning in the 1991). I live in the small village of Šentilj. Šentilj is very well known in Europe because it is one of the biggest cross borders, after Slovenia became a member of EU, cross borders lost their function. 

I was born in the middle of Slovenske Gorice in 1960, where the hills are planted with wine vineyards. Still today, in our wine-growing hills, you will come across remains from the past. Antiques hang from winepresses in cellars and everywhere you can see archaic articles. The Slovenske Gorice people and wine are linked by destiny and that makes the landscape exceptional. In the nineteen thirties a village priest wrote in his chronicle that there was a romm given to wine, then to God. He wrote about the grape yield, about peronospora and about the price of grapes…he wrote about wine and he was right. Church bells where taken away by soldiers who marched past the villages of Slovenske Gorice, but the vineyards remained. The vineyards have always been here and they always will be. 

I have always wanted to work, to create, to plan, to design and to organize. In the past that was all I wanted to do in life. But I could not make those dreams come true. A part of me wishes I could make those dreams come true through my job. I work in the public sector, in the majority of Šentilj as a referent for a local company. 

Since as long as I can remember I have always liked to participate in sports. As we know, the apple never falls far from the tree. So it seems to be in my family. My son Jure (16 years old) is competing in ski jumping and my daughter Nuša (19 years old) is competing in karate.

                

And my hobby…

People know a lot of ways to relax. I like fishing, but in the last few years there has not been enough time. Water and nature are very positive for me. 

The last few years I have been a ski jumping coach. All my work as a coach is totally free and voluntary. The success of our competitors has always given me a new energy, in spite of my “nervous breakdowns” at ski jumping competitions.   

Why do I have this page? 

Sports are not the only challenge in my life. Another one is making some extra money doing marketing, all kinds of marketing, including pyramid schemes that have made my life miserable. I discovered that they have their function only for short time. Their existence depends on people, who always must give something, but get nothing back. All of those classic (pyramid) marketing schemes have no future and thanks to God, I realized that in time.
