Here are some picture of me working on my property in alaska. I really enjoyed this alot. The top picture is of the foundation of the house that I was going to build. It never happened because of military obligations. The picture to the side is of me jackhammering it out of the ground. Concrete is some pretty hard stuff. |

Here are some pictures of the Aurora taken from I do not know where. These pictures do not do justice to the awesomeness of the light show. The Aurora is so big that you can't fully see it unless you move your head. It is so different all the time. My favorite is when it looks like a river across the sky. |

One of the things that I am most thankful for about my time in alaska are the friends that I met. Having this group of guys and gals made life so much more enjoyable and pleasant. |

Days can be cold and dark where I was at. Snowmobiles and dog sled teams were popular ways of getting around up there. Little cabins like this one were made by the BLM for people to stay in for recreation. I have some good memories of this place. |
