Local feng shui practise is that the ancestor’s bones should not be touched at least for 10 years from the date of burial. After repolish, the bones can be reburied into a new, good fengshui location OR incinerate and put the ash into a vase and place the vase at temple. The existing grave can not be used again. The feng shui recommendations are based on year of birth of the death and all the yin feng shui formula. A proper prayer should be conducted before the work of excavation starts. Another prayer shall be performed while placing the bone into the temple.
