But before he does he tells Link to go to Hyrule Castle, go see Princess Zelda and show her the Kokiri Emerald. Link travels through Hyrule Field and goes into the castle. When Zelda sees the Emerald she shows him Gannondorf and tells him about the dreams she has been having. She tells Link to get the other Spiritual Stones from the Gorons and the Zoras. Link does, but when he goes to see Zelda again she rides away on horse with her servant, Impa, being closely chased by Gannondorf. Zelda manages to throw the Ocarina of Time to Link. Afterwards, Link travels to the Temple of Time, opens the Door of Time, and pulls out the Master Sword. He is knocked out by Gannondorf and when he wakes up it is seven years later. Link is now an adult and Gannondorf is on the verge of conquering Hyrule. Rauru, the Sage of Light tells Link that he has to get the six medallions to defeat Gannondorf. When he leaves another person, Sheik, tells him where that the medallions are in the possesion of the six sages and that they are trapped in the five temples. Link saves each of the six sages( Rauru ,Saria, Darunia, Ruto, Impa, and Nabooru). When he goes back to the Temple of Time he finds out that Sheik is really Zelda in disguise. She tells him that Gannondorf took a piece of the Triforce and that they have the other two. Link leaves and then uses the power of the medallions to get into Gannon's Castle. He defeats Gannon finally after a long grueling battle. In the end, Zelda takes the Ocarina back and restores Link to his childhood. With her task done Link's fairy Navi also leaves him...
