Din is the Oracle of Seasons. She is a beautiful dancer who keeps the forces of nature in perfect balance. Without her, there would be no order to the seasons. In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons Link has to rescue her in the land of Holodrum after she is kidnapped by the evil General Onox. Din is also the goddess of power, and was also one of the original founders of Hyrule - she cultivated the red earth with her arms, as the legend states. In Ocarina of Time, one of your magic abilities in Din's Fire, which lets you burn things. Din, the Oracle of Seasons, was probably named after the goddess Din.
