When you dodge a falling object that no one knew was coming tward you, people call it instinct. When a bird flies south for the winter, it is also called instinct. Right there we have two very different explainations of the same idea.
The bird's migratory habit is a result of LRA (learned responsive action), and not instinct. The bird learned the climate pattern, developed a response to it, and took action, hence "instinct" (migration) is the result.
Now those who strongly believe in guardian angels will disagree with this next statement. Actual instinct stems from the psychy, which is the mind, which is part of the soul or astral. There are NO outside forces at work. When the person "instinctively" dodges a falling object, it is because of one of two events. Either his psychy tells his brain to look up, and he sees the object, or, his astral jsut tries to move out of the way, and he feels a "push" to get out of the way.
In the first scenerio, the person contributes to luck. In the latter, the person almost always contributes to a guardian angel, and sometimes luck. He almost never gives himself credit, even though it IS his psychy that told him to take action. And why would he think it was his own abilities, when negative programming has taught him that only God can have that kind of knowledge, and he is but a mindless insect who's fate is already planned out?? |
