only new person there! Some of us have lived here for years and are experienced
mothers; many of us are new in town or new to motherhood! So contact our
membership vice-president using our e-mail listed on the left, or
simply come to a meeting or event and get to know
us! MOMS Club® of MOMS Offering Moms Support Mail: Long Valley, New Jersey 07853-0313 Our dues are $27.00 a
year and pay for room rentals, supplies and programs. You may attend
two meetings or events before you decide to become a member. If the
dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to one of our
officers. Our monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every
month at 9:30 a.m. Please join us with your
children. What we offer: Monthly
Meetings: We have monthly meetings where we conduct
chapter business and have guest speakers discussing a wide variety of
topics. We have room for the children to play and moms to socialize. Activities: We
plan various outings each month appropriate for children of a range of ages.
Some of our past activities have included: outings to area parks,
playgrounds and zoos; apple-picking; lunch outings; holiday parties;
and stroller walks at area parks and malls. MOMS
Night Out: We have one night event per month. Past nights out
have included: painting at a pottery store; dinner and movie; coffee at a
local café; and manicure/pedicure night. Service
Projects: We do several service projects a year to benefit
families in need. Past projects included a food drive, annual yard sale to benefit
the Mother to Mother fund and collecting baby items for donation to local
charities. Newsletter:
Our chapter publishes a monthly newsletter for members detailing the
month's activities as well as activities going on within the local
community. Meals
for Moms: We provide support for those moms who recently gave
birth, who are having a hard time or who have recently had a tragedy in
their family. This is a wonderful way to lend support to another MOM. Playgroup
Coordination: We
offer help in finding like-minded moms with children in similar age groups
to get together for small groups independent of the larger club events and
meetings.
