Introduction:
On the 18th February 2001, three of the Longueville Lads began 'The Championship Manager Marathon.' This involved two days of tough competition on the PC game. Each of the three Lads stepped into the position of manager of a Premiership team and set about achieving success for the club. You may be thinking 'so what's new?' Well, the unique factor concerning this event was that it took place practically non-stop over 42 hours, with just two sleeping breaks of five hours each to break up the gaming. The profiles of each of the three contestants can found on its own page. There is also a page of photos of the big event, and a final page giving out information such as how they did and how far they got. Just use the links below or to the left to navigate around this section of the site. |
