Our first malamute, Bandit, was purchased in 1988 from Mick and Wendy Newton at Chukchii Kennels in Victoria, Australia. A few years later our foundation bitch Tikka, also from Chukchii Kennels, arrived. After entering the world of dog showing and obedience trialling they later became known as Ch Chukchii Cold Foot CD and Ch Chukchii Poker Queen. Much snow has melted on the mountains since our first beginnings and we now enjoy the company of Sara (boot scooter extrodinaire and enthusiastic rabbit poo snacker), Odin (aka Mr Fluffy)and two Borzoi, Zeus and Zeena.
