George Sizemore

George is thought by some to be the son of a Cherokee Chief and a beautiful white woman (SIZEMORE?) whom he had captured and held briefly before rescue by her brothers but not quite in time. Aggy was a little Indian Girl captured by mistake during a rescue of 2 white girls and raised by a CORNETT. They had at least 11 children.
George married Agnes Shepherd in 1772 in Shenandoah, Va. (Agnes Shepherd was born in 1755 in NC and died in 1833 in Perry Co.)
