They are said to originally landed at New Amsterdam, NY. John Hash is listed as Rev. Soldier in DAR Cent. Edition on Page 656. "B" p63) (Where did "first sickly wife" come from. I always thought it be in his will until I saw the original) (I've been going through Fincastle, Montgomery Cos. Court Orders page by page to see if a Rebecca or Elizabeth Hash relinquished her dower rights so maybe we could tell for sure who was the last wife, of course she could have remarried).
John married Elizabeth Sturgill, daughter of James Sturgill and Ann Williams Blackstone. (Elizabeth Sturgill was born in 1735 in Orange, VA.)
