Animism Religious belief that All living creatures have a soul or spiritual energy
Banishing Use of prayers or incantations to rid an area of malevolent entities
Crows Birds believed to be messengers of death and evil.  They are also believed to carry departed souls into the spirit world
Crypto-Zoology The Study of Hidden Animals.  For Example, Big Foot, Jersey Devil, etc. Taken from the Greek Words:  Kryptos = Hidden;  Zoon = Animal;  Logia = Study
Exorcism A ceremony passed through the Jewish and Catholic religions to rid a person or dwelling of Invading spirits
Metaphysics Believed to be introduced by Aristotle, studies the questions not asked in everyday life.  Focuses on asking "Why?"
Necromancer A person who uses incantations to Summon spirits in order to gain knowledge from them, then banishes them back to where they came from
Necronomicon A book of the occult containing ancient incantations and sigils.  The book is believed to have the power of the "Elder Gods" and can open a gateway to the "Dread Dimension"
Numerology A study in spectral numbers.  Every living thing has a number ranging from 1-10.  These numbers are believed to determine how a person lives and who they are in life.
Omen A sign of somesort foretelling of a future event
Paranormal Happenings in the world that people are not accustomed to and do not fully understand
Parapsychology A branch of paranormal study focused on psychic abilities and spiritual phenomena 
Possession The person's mind is invaded by a spiritual or demonic force
Pentagram A Five pointed star design.  When faced upwards it represents spirituality and protection.  Some Believe that when turned upside down it represents Evil.  Conversely, An upside down Pentagram can also represent a Level 2 Wiccan.  The difference is in which arts are being practiced under the sign. 
Stigmata A very strange and unexplained occurance where a person periodically bleeds from the hands, feet and side where Christ was wounded during Crucifiction
Wicca Witchcraft as a recognized religion.  Referred to as ancient religion.  Wiccans connect themselves with the elements and the energies of the earth itself
Xenobiology The biological study of Uncommon Creatures. See Crypto-Zoology
