ITINERARY
(i) Kuching-Saratok-Kuching ; WayFaring the Iban Style
(2 Days/1 Night)
Day 1
Departure from Kuching at 8:00 am. Orang Utan sighting at Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Enroute Saratok, lunch-stop in Lachau town followed by a visit to the local market for jungle produce of vegetables and tropical fruits. Our trip proceeds to Nanga Telik Longhouse which will be your home for the night. Native style dinner.
Day 2
Junglers Forage Trail pass a rubber garden begins at 8:00 hours, after breakfast. Ford the Krian creek and be enticed with wonders of nature; tropical inhabitants in the diverse vegetations, as we walk through the trail to get to a waterfall. A local cook to show you the skillful Iban way of preparing the fire and food. Learn the Iban culinary art, utilizing bamboo tubes to cook our array of delicacies to make savoury midday meal. Cool off in the waters......Enjoy! Walk pass "Tembawai Lama", an old site to ancient longhouse. Go across the Krian river via suspension bridge to Nanga Maras Longhouse. Walk pass pepper gardens as we return to Nanga Telik Longhouse. Our journey to Kuching ensues. Upon reaching the city, your immediate transfer to a hotel within.

(ii) Kuching-Saratok-Krian Jungle-Kuching ; Explore the Iban Terrestrial
(4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 1
Leave from Kuching at 9:00 am. Take a break in Lachau town to lunch and join your guide to shop for local vegetables and fruits. Head on to Nanga Telik Longhouse to be our guest for the night. You will be served Iban delicacies for dinner.
Day 2
Our jungle adventure begins as early as 8:00 hours, after mealtime. Adventurous travelers will set out to acquire jungle survival and campcraft skills; the typical Iban way, as you head on to Krian Campsite with our experienced local guides. One night camping will enable you to sight tropical inhabitants among the ravishing greeneries within this large terrestrial that is rich in biodiversity. Hike up " Bukit Kesi", a hill on a range to see "Padong Remaong", a cave believed to be the lair to "Remoang", a famous legendary dragon to the Ibans. Many hidden waterfalls and streams to take a cool plunge in.
Day 3
We shall pack-up our rucksack to leave our campsite and proceed with our journey through the woods. Thenafter, our nature sojourn brings you to one of the many waterfalls within this tract. Your last night in Nanga Telik Longhouse.
Day 4
Set off to Kuching after breakfast. Your immediate check-in to a hotel in the city.

(iii) Kuching-Saratok-Kuching ; Ngabang Gawai
(3 Days/2 Nights) - May 31st through June 2nd.
The Ibans celebrate the Gawai festival once a year to mark the end of the rice harvest. Ceremonious events are carried out in a longhouse and all comers are feasted to streams of home-brewed 'tuak' or rice wine to the accompaniment of colourful rituals, traditional music and merry-making.
