Top 10 Games
The greatest games in the world... ever!
#1. Final Fantasy VII (PSone).
Still the greatest RPG AND adventure game. What's there to not like about this game? Epic plot, mini games, great characters, battles, graphics, and the best villain in any video game ever. If you haven't played it, slap yourself really hard in the face until it goes red.

#2. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (PS2).
Better than the original in the sense that it isn't as hard. Its just a great game that is adventurous as it is action packed, with a slight hint of strategy. And you really do feel like an assassin when you strangle someone to death with some chicken wire - making it an assassination sim!

#3. Primal (PS2).
The story to this game is AMAZING. It's just great. And the characters are very interesting too. Jen (above) is great to control, as is Scree (the gargoyle lurking in the background). The voice acting is superb, the graphics speak for themselves, and what your left feeling is that this is the greatest adventure game on the PS2.
#4. Max Payne (PC).
A great, action-packed third-person shooter that feels suspiciously like a first-person game. Great graphics, action, characters and plot. Bullet time is cool, but I'm sick of bloody seeing it nowadays as it's in virtually ever game. The sequel's great as well - not as good as the first, but great nonetheless. If you own an Xbox, you should buy them both - they're essential.

#5. The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (N64).
A great adventure game that is an RPG, hack 'n' slash, puzzle-solving AND a fishing sim! Not as big as FFVII but no less meaningful and epic. Better than the old NES and SNES ones, if a little more linear.

#6. Star Wars (Mastersystem).
For me, my first ever REAL video game experience. Well, the first one I truly enjoyed and completed. Looks rubbish now, but it's still great laugh to play, and it literally takes you a day to finish it. A long game, for it's day. Hard, too. And you have to give it to Sega - given the minimal ability of the prehistoric console, they still managed to cram every memorable bit from the movie into the game, and not a spoiled job, either - all set pieces in the game are great.

#7. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Megadrive).
I used to think Sonic was the greatest video game character ever until Uncle Bryn went and spoiled it all by liking him. Bloody Uncle Bryn. I hate him. If you want to piss him off (please do), go and slander his Sonic Forum.

#8. Deus Ex (PC).
The best first-person shooter money can buy. Great action, great plot, great characters... graphics seem a little old now, but that doesn't stop it from being the best (and, to my knowledge, ONLY) first-person shooter with more than a hint of RPG. And the lead character looks like Neo! A few years older than The Matrix (4, actually). but he looks like him. Just a bit bigger.

#9. Mario Kart (N64).
The best multi-player game. No other racing OR 2-player game gives you such a thrill. Great laugh. Oh, the times we had... and the times we threw the controller at the wall...
#10. Pong (Arcade).
I
played this at an arcade in Scarborough with a mate. We were there for a week,
camping nearby. We spent the most of that week in there, playing pong. The
second oldest video game made, and still one of the greatest multi-player games.
