The Plot
Season 1 takes place on the day of the California Presedential primary. Terrorists plot to assassinate Presedential candidate David Palmer, the first African American with a good shot at the White House. The story mainly follows the events of a goverment agent called Jack Bauer who works for CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit). Along side other agents he must identify the assassins and save Palmers life. At the same time however Jack's teenage daughter Kim has went missing.
