Some of the first settlers were Alexander, Andrew, Anthony, Bernard, Cornelius, Daniel, David, Dennis, Edward, Elizabeth, Ellen, Francis, George, Henry, Hugh, James, Jeremiah, John, Joseph, Margaret, Mary, Michael, Patrick, Owen, Peter, Robert, Thomas, Timothy and William all arrived in Philadelphia in 1840.
