| My Family Heritage |
| A family record is more than just names, dates and places. It's about family and ancestors, where did they come from and when did they get here. This site was devoted to my family to help keep our heritage alive so that we can past down to our future generations to help them understand who they are and where they came from. All of us know something about our living relativies but do we know our past ??? Some have been lucky enough to know our great-grandparents and who they was and shared special moments with them, but not everyone is that lucky so I hope that we can try to help those family members to know alittle about our ancestors and their past. I hope that you enjoy this site as much as I do and thanks to everyone who has helped me with the unknown history of our family. |
| Who am I ??? I started out camly, tracing my tree to see if I could find the making of me. All I had to go by was my great-grandfather's name, not knowing his wifes name or where they came from. I chased him accross a long line of states, and came up with pages and pages and lots of dates. When I put it all together, it made me forlorn, poor old great-grandpa was never born.. One day I thought I had finally found the truth, determinded to turn this thing upside down. I looked up a record of one Uncle John, but there found the old man to be younger than his son. Then when my hopes became dim, I came accross some records that must have been him. The facts I collected made me quite sad, dear old great-grandpa was never a dad. I spent several hundreds of dollars on my tree, I can't help wondering if I am really me...author-unknown ??? |
