1990 Mazda Protégé LX

About my car:

I found this car on Ebay, it was listed for $150.00 "Buy it now"  price, so I put a bid on it, several days later I looked at the Ebay site and saw there were no other bids on it,   a few days later the auction ended with no other bidders.  I emailed the owner and told him I would pay the "Buy it now" price,  He agreed and a few weeks later we went to get the car in Middleville Michigan.  The car was listed for parts only and said it need a new clutch.

When I got the car it had 192,568 Miles on it and had a different motor and trans with approximately 125,000 miles on it.  We checked the trans it was fine but had a really loud bearing whine, there was no fluid in the trans at all.  I decided then to use the DOHC trans from my Junk car.

Engine:

• 1.8 DOHC BP MOTOR
• Spark Plug Wires, Capacitor type
• Timing set to 18 Degrees BTDC

Transmition:

• Clutch Net 6 Puck Sprung hub clutch

Exhaust:

• Pacesetter Cat Back System

What I want done:

Suspension:

• H&R Sport Lowering Springs (MX3)
• KYB struts
• Mazda JSpec BPT from Japan
• Rebuilt Jspec to 9.0:1 Compression with head shaved
• Cams
• 3 inch exhaust
• Flowmaster muffler
• Intercooler Kit
• solid motor mounts
• rebuilt 5MT transmition

This is a picture of my old car, this is after I stripped it for parts, my friend is using the motor and suspension for a Mazda 323 Swap.  To bad it was junk, the front end was smashed on the drivers side.
