A very good manga in my opinion. By one of my fav manga writers, Yu Watase. A nice story about the power of words. A Romance story, but with tons of humer. My favorite charcter by far is Frey. Each charcter has a past that effects the darkness, or mara, within their own hearts. Alice is the main charcter in this manga 7 part series, as you could guess. She must master 24 Lotis words as well as find the lost words that shall defeat Darva, controller of Mara. Alice, her love interest Kyo, Frey, Chris, and Nyozaka a bunny gaurdian, must master these words so Alice can save her sister from her own Mara. I give the series a ten out of ten, though I still have to read the last volume.
Another work by Yu Watase. Tanpopo (Dandelion) Has moved from a small country cram school to a big city tech school full of stuck up rich kids. On her first journey to school, she runs into Koki, a boy who's dad owns the school, taking care of a tanpopo. The next day at school, she looks for the nice young lad to find him hard and cold. She continues to take care of the tanpopo after Koki uproots it. Deciding to start a Horticulture commitee, even though real plants are banned, she works on the garden of real flowers she secretly plants in hopes of making friends with Koki. All through this manga series, Tanpopo stays true to herself and speaks her mind and never lets anything get her down, something I admire. She has a cute fox named Poplar as her pet. I give it a 8.5 out of 10, definatly worth a read.
