As much as I love the great state of Texas, I headed up north for college. It's amazing how exotic Indiana... isn't. Despite the nine months of winter a year and the total lack of sunshine, I like Notre Dame a whole lot. |

Notre Dame is wonderful. Don't get me wrong. It's a beautiful, albeit snowcovered campus, with great profs, and lots of cute guys. But sometimes, I miss Texas a lot. To stave off homesickness, I am currently the president of Notre Dame's Texas Club. |

Notre Dame has great athletics. I especially like football and hockey. My podunk Texas town has been home for Grant Irons and Travis Leitko. Not bad for a town that's only 30 years old. We have yet, however, to contribute to the Notre Dame hockey team... I really have no idea why ice hockey is not played in East Texas. |
