Dove's (Personal) Review: Louis L'Amour at his best! This is a super story!
Kearney McRaven is told that his father killed himself. McRaven knows better though. His father just wasn't the suicidal type. He takes it upon himself to solve his father's murder. Along the way, he discovers he has some rather nasty relatives, that are looking to inherit his father's estate. During his journey to uncover the truth about his father's death, he also has to worry about his relatives hunting him down to kill him.
Being that I don't want to give anything crucial away, I won't say any more than that about the story itself. It's the classic "family feud" we all hate to live through, but love to read about.
Richly developed characters, a plot full of unpredictable twists n' turns, scenic landscape, combined with suspense, greed, spite, and complete with a "good vs. evil" battle! A MUST READ for all L'Amour fans!
GOLD STAR, TWO-THUMBS-UP!!!
