The story itself runs dead parallel to the game, and the book; "The Flood", by William C. Dietz. Eric Nylund has given lots of useful info in "The Fall of Reach" and "First Strike". Kudos to the both of them for writing some damn fine books.
Anyway, I got off topic. The story runs parallel to the game and book. It is about Squads Three and Four, both are ODST Helljumper divisions, assigned to the Pillar of Autumn. They will meet up with the Master Chief once or twice, as well as other people from the book, such as Major Silva.
