| AMA marks the end of an era for Dark Muffins Productions. This was the final skit that the members of our group would be using the moniker: Dark Muffins Productions for cosplay skit entry. The reality was bittersweet, and not everyone was okay with the decision, but the majority of the group felt it best we "move on" to new and different things. We will still be cosplaying, so watch for some former members at Otakon and Nekocon in their fabulous skits, but we won't be using DMP. Fortunately, DMP went out with a bang. We love AMA because it's a smaller con, more intimate, and very fun. And, we like to rock the cosplay^^. This year, we took home Best in Show, for the third year in a row, for our saucy, condensed version of one of our favorite series: Shoujo Kakumei Utena. |

| The Seitokai take the stage, followed by the Rose Bride, Himemiya Anshii. The current champion of the duels, Saionji Kiyouichi, goes to her. She recoils from his touch. |
| Furious at her actions, Saionji smacks her. He returns to the group, receiving a high five from fellow council member Arisugawa Juri, who has some grudge against the Rose Bride.... |
| Himemiya is helped by new student Tenjou Utena. Utena wishes for her to be her own person. She pulls away part of the trappings of the Rose Bride, revealing a red leather skirt, as Himemiya begins to sing. |
| Saionji is not having a good day. He challenges Utena to a duel to "reclaim his property," but is beaten in the first attack. Utena becomes engaged to Himemiya as a result. The Seitokai are dismayed. |
| But secretary Kaoru Miki quickly steps in to challenge Utena. The boy has a crush on the Rose Bride, which she uses to Utena's advantage. She strips away her jacket, revealing a red and black bustier, and kisses the boy, distracting him from the duel. Round two to Utena. |
| President Kiryuu Touga and Juri stand back to take stock of the situation (and to check out the girls). Himemiya takes the trophy roses from Utena. |
| When she is not fighting, Utena's magical sword, the Sword of Dios, lies dormant within Himemiya's body. |
| Touga's sister, Kiryuu Nanami, is on cue-card duty. Having transitioned between rounds one and two, she now announces "Fan Service" |
| Utena and Himemiya dance, while Himemiya continues to sing. Touga and Juri quite enjoy the show. |
| Note Touga and Juri calling all their friends to tell them about the hot dancing girls. |
| All pretty dancing must come to an end, however. Round three begins with Juri challenging Utena to a duel. Utena, however, has other ideas for getting rid of pesky seitokai. |
| She calls in the calvalry. Juri's longtime secret crush, Tatasuki Shiori, saunters on stage and takes Juri's sword, at Utena's request. Juri tries to get her sword back, but the girl pulls away, and Juri accidentally pulls her shirt open. "Costume Malfunction" reads the next cue card. Juri is understandably distracted, but not enough to be "deflowered". Annoyed, Utena calls for more backup, in the form of Tsuchiya Ruka, Juri's longime friend and probably the only male she had any feelings for. Juri is led away by the two, and Ruka hands her rose to Utena. |
| Touga has had enough. He challenges Utena directily at the start of round four. It looks to be a fair fight at first.... |
| ...but Utena pulls the "show the breasts" trick Himemiya used earlier on Miki. Touga is stunned, and Utena takes his rose. She then beats him to the ground, intent on revenge. Nanami, horrified at the abuse being given to her onii-sama, starts hitting Utena with her cue-cards, but Utena smacks the girl with her sword, sending the Kiryuu family away in shame. |
| Cue gratuitous sexy dancing interlude number two. |
| Enter Ohtori Akio, acting charman of the school, brother to Himemiya, and current crush of Utena. He bypasses Utena completely at first, and embraces his sister. |
| His embrace is a bit too friendly for Utena's liking. She looks on in rage and disgust. The bastard! That's his sister! |
| Akio turns to Utena, turing on his trademarked charm. The effect is short-lived, however, as he quickly backhands her, sending her sprawling to the ground. |
| Utena lies humiliated, embarrassed, etc. Meanwhile, Akio turns his attentions back to his sister-bride in a very pretty display of choreography. |
| And the instant replay, in clarity. Unseen, Himemiya's pet monkey-mouse, Chuchu, scurries across, picking up the scattered roses of the fallen duellists. |
| Akio's triumph over his sister is not to be, as she tells him she will not return to him. She smacks him, and helps Utena to her feet. Akio storms off, confused. The seitokai return, ending the skit with some very pretty dancing in the background involving dips and swords, while Utena and Himemiya dance out front, happy together at last. |
