| For the second year in a row, the Dark Muffins totally rocked Anime Mid-Atlantic. The cosplay itself went through several incarnations before we settled on what we hoped would be a crowd-pleaser. Happily, it was, and DMP walked away with Best in Show for the second year running. This skit was especially memorable for me because it marked the debut of my brother and sister to the world of cosplay. Scott was our "Mamo-pet", as Melanie dubbed him, and Kristen was the cutest Chibimoon ever! Sailormoon SuperS? A Last Minute Dark Muffins Production Story: Helios is having some problems with the Dead Moon and his supposed allies.... | Super Sailor Chibimoon and Helios kneel at the front of the stage. Helios has found his "maiden," and the young girl is smitten with her protector. |

| Neherenia enters with her "Mamo-pet," a hypnotized Tuxedo Kamen. He takes her precious mirror off-stage so she can terrorize the two innocent youths. |

| Once Mamo-pet has left, she beckons a secont Mamoru, who brings her a microphone. She begins to sing, and the Amazon Trio do-wops while Neherenia attempts to lure the children to evil with her upbeat song. |

| Super Sailor Chibimoon at first tries to protect Helios from the wicked advances of the queen, but she soon finds herself wooed by the music.... |
| ....and takes the horn from Helios' head to use as her own microphone! Helios tries to flee in horror, but is way-sided by Fish Eye and Hawk's Eye. Tiger's Eye has left out of disgust for the antics on stage. |

| Super Sailormoon storms on stage, horrified at the behavior of her future daughter. She shoves Chibiusa away, then tries to attack the Dead Moon. Seeing it has no effect on them, she decides she might as well join in the fun. To Helios' dismay, his would-be savior has now joined in his torment! |

| Neherenia and Sailormoon are having lots of fun tormenting and seducing poor Helios, as are Fish Eye and Hawk's Eye. Can't the poor pegasus get a break? |
| Zirconia, Neherenia's most loyal minion, enters, and flings off her purple cape, revealing a mini-dress and knee-high boots. Helios faints at the sight of the cockroach-lady flaunting and dancing along with everyone else. The two Amazons rush to Helios' aid, but Neherenia dismisses them. They stomp off-stage in frustration. |

| Chibimoon struts back on stage, twirling Tiger's Eye's shirt around like a trophy. Tiger's Eye follows, trying to cover himself. She apparently has decided she's quite mature enough for this sort of fun, thank you mother. However, the laugh is on everyone, as Helios, finally deciding to join in the fun, drops his shirt to reveal that he is also a woman. Neherenia and Sailormoon are shocked, Tiger's Eye looks strangely pleased, and Chibmoon flings her arms around Helios from behind, perhaps in an attempt to cover the poor creature up? |
